Mario Kart K'NEX sets are exactly what we need right now

Mar 15 // Chris Pranger

Have I had the chance to talk about how much I'm in love with anything related to the Mario Bros? I haven't, had I? Suffice it to say, I'm probably not alone in that ridiculous devotion, so I'm also probably not alone in my giddiness regarding the newest K'NEX sets based off Mario Kart Wii. They are, quite simply, the sort of things that will make me smile and not stop smiling until a big bushy 'stache has grown on my face (which could take a while).

Thus far there are only three characters represented with karts- Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi- plus Mario and Luigi also having a bike set each. The kart sets are US$19.99 whereas the bikes are only US$9.99. Not bad at all if you ask me. Even better, the K'NEX Mario Kart page is teasing a full racetrack set for June. I can't wait for that, plus I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll soon see a little K'NEX Bowser, Peach, and yes, especially Waluigi (why you gotta hate all the time?).

Obviously I'm sold. Sold and sold. Each character also comes with a power-up of their very own, like a Star, a Mushrom, and some bananas. K'NEX is even kind enough to include printable track panels on that Mario Kart page, which I'm happy about. I'm just happy right now. I haz a happy. Who else haz a happy? Is it you Tomopeeps? I'm assuming it probably is.
