With Dolpa 26 happening next month, a few new announcments have been made including some new SD16 and Yo-SD dolls, a Dollfie Dream Sister of Milihiore from Dog Days, and the next in line for Volks' After School Akihabara Girls series of dolls. We've seen the idols of the After School Akihabara Girls but now Volks' will be introducing the teacher, Mariko-sensei.
The contest designed Mariko-sensei will be using the newer Dollfie Dream Sister body that's about 50cm tall. which I find cute as she'll be shorter than the student dolls of the series. To show her maturity, Mariko-sensei will have the L-bust that she proudly shows in her open top. I don't think any schools would be too fond of her walking around with that blouse unbuttoned like that. To finish the teacher ensemble, Mariko-sensei includes a skirt, stockings, and some high heels. I'm not big on the After School Akihabara Girls series because of the style of the faces, lips, and eyes. That continues with Mariko-sensei. It surprises me that the beautiful Alna is a part of this series.
There's more than meets the eye with this teacher. Also introduced with Mariko-sensei was the Magical Peach Dress Set converting your everyday teacher into a... well, magical girl of some type. The outfit is an interesting outfit reminding me of a certain magical detective title. The outfit looks really nice without the cape. ...though, the bow has to go. Though modeled with Mariko-sensei, the outfit will work with any Dollfie Dream and Dollfie Dream Sister with a S, M, and L-bust.
These items will only be available at Dolpa 26 on December 18, 2011. The Mariko-sensei Dollfie Dream Sister will be selling for 54,000 yen and the Magical Peach Dress Set is priced at 8,800 yen. Compared to the other releases happening, this doesn't seem as exciting of a release.
