I was a huge LP fan back in the day and Gundam isn't one of my fandom either so... not gonna pick this up.
But I really like this idea in general, it really makes it a specail edition.

The band Linkin Park has never been a group shy about their love of Gundam. The group has featured the iconic machines on the album cover for Reanimation and being featured in the video for "Somewhere I Belong." Their latest single, "The Catalyst", has been selected as the theme song for the newest Gundam arcade game, Mobile Suit Gundam Gundam Vs. Extreme. The newest album, "A Thousand Suns" will include a special Gunpla kit for its release in Japan on November 24th.
The kit is a special gray/white recolor of the HGUC Gundam GP-01Fb. Ironically enough, that kit was featured in the aforementioned video. This isn't the first time that Bandai has done a special color kit for an album release, as they did so with a custom HG Destiny Gundam of T.M. Revolution's character from Gundam SEED Destiny for his "Best Of" album.
You can currently pre-order the CD-Gunpla set from CD Japan for 5238 yen. Going through High School, I was huge Linkin Park fan, so this is something I'm going to have to pick up. For the fans and non-fans alike, is an exclusive Gunpla enough for you to spend $62 on a CD?
