To celebrate the re-release of the Disney classic film, Cinderella, on DVD and Blu-Ray, the Disney Store is releasing a new line of merchandise dubbed "The Cinderella Premiere Collection." Exciting new items include limited edition pins, a pretty cool mug, and, of course, a ton of toys. The headliner toy is the 18 inch Limited Edition Cinderella doll, which is currently available for pre-order online for US$99.50. She is limited to 5000 pieces and arrives decked out in her gown for the ball, layered with organza and and tulle and accented with rhinestones. She comes with a display stand and her iconic glass slippers (be careful not to lose one!). Other accessories include opera gloves, which are covered in rhinestones like the dress, an ebony bead choker, and glittering hairband and clip. Her face is a little bland in my opinion but that could just be me. The rest of the doll looks very impressive. 

If a nearly US$100 doll isn't your thing, other dolls and accessories are available. Two of them, the Singing Cinderella doll (US$29.50) and the Princess Cinderella doll with "Happily Ever After" carriage set (US$59.50), both looked worthwhile. And there were plushes, including one of my favorite Disney villains, Lucifer the cat (US$19.50)! Others included Suzy (US$9.50), one of Cinderella's helpful mouse friends, and Bruno the dog (US$29.50). I am totally buying that Lucifer and possibly Suzy. He has to have a buddy to "play" with, after all.
