Latest DC Cover Girls getting ready for night out on town

I imagine quite a few people were enamored by the new DC Collectibles' DC Cover Girls Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy statues that were shown at SDCC. Now you have a chance to pre-order them.

Both characters sport their "New 52" designs with Harley Quinn looking particularly incredible. Then again, it's just a really neat costume. I still appreciate the detail of her smashed older costume in the base and the use of sledge hammer instead of the more classic mallet (at the same time I must confess that I somewhat miss the more comical aspect of the character). Harley Quinn is listed as being 8.5-inches tall.

I can't say that I care for Poison Ivy's new, seemingly less revealing costume. While likely to be completely overshadowed by the recent Sideshow Poison Ivy (and the DC Cover Girls Harley Quinn for that matter), the DC Cover Girls Poison Ivy is still certainly a nice looking statue with a solid sculpt and decent paintwork. However, there's just nothing about her that's terribly exciting. She's listed as being 10.125-inches tall, presumably due to her upraised arms.

Both DC Cover Girls have a list price of US$99.99 and are available for pre-order now.

Custom Made Monday: It's a me, Mario

Well, it's almost time for E3, so I guess Custom Made Monday ought to get with the times and showcase a little bit of gaming-themed customs. Of course, I say a little bit because there's others that draw their inspiration from movies, and yet others from food and piracy. Not the online kind. I'd suggest hopping past the jump to check them out ... because you really can't otherwise, can you?

DC Collectibles pre-order round-up

DC Collectibles inundates fans with offerings every month which occasionally makes it hard to keep up. While a good number of collectibles were mentioned on this site last month, a few slipped through the cracks while a slew of additional pre-orders have started opening. How can anybody keep up? Well, hitting the jump would be a great start.
