Last night's pre-orders don't care if you're at SDCCThe world keeps turning even though most of us are paying attention to the big event at San Diego, so here's a quick post on last night's pre-order highlights! Wave added two Beach Queens figures to their arsenal, Muginami from Rinne no Lagrange (Dec. release) and Kanoe Yuko from Dusk Maiden of Amnesia (Jan. 2013 release). I love the colorful and playful look of Muginami and the mature one from the other, especially the fact that Yuko comes with two different hair styles. Both are priced at ¥3,800. Yami just wrote about Ques Q's new bunny girl Taiga yesterday, and she's already up for pre-order! She's a cutie for sure, set for release in December (woo, Christmas!) and retailing for a hefty ¥7,000. Prince of Tennis II recently aired (see what sister site Japanator said about it), and considering the fan phenomenon surrounding the show I'm not surprised to see another One Coin set of the characters go up for pre-order. They are also slated for release in December and the box will run you upto ¥6,800 for a set of 10 unique figures. They're all adorable, so I'm sure fans of the show and manga wouldn't be disappointed. Finally, we've got figma Scarlet Rain, which Andres recently previewed and has some readers pretty excited. Seeing the figures from Accel World seriously makes me want to see the source material - I love how this looks! She's slated for December release and retails for ¥2,400 (via AmiAmi).
