Before we begin, I think I should get this out of the way. I really REALLY dislike K-ON! I'd almost go as far as to say I hate the show! Almost but not quite. Still, even with my stance there were a few things to like about the show. No, it wasn't the music. Definitely not Yui. It sure as heck wasn't Mio! Nope, it was everyone's favourite closet lesbian and quirky, pampered rich girl, Mugi!!
So why oh WHY have you gone and done this, KyoAni? We've seen this figure before when it was an uncoloured prototype and opinions were somewhat mixed back then, but I don't see the coloured images changing that. The strange poses are sort of what the KyoAni figures have been remembered for. I mean, take a look at their Ritsu! But the costumes for both figures strikes me as being simply ugly! The dress for Mugi has been given a swept up look so show off her glittering pair of hotpants but I can't really look at the figure long enough to appreciate that feature!
If you really want one, you can preorder on the KyotoAnimation shop website for 10,00 yen and she will be released in December but I think this one is for the hardcore Mugi fans only.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to bemoan the fact that this figure has badly tarnished one of the few things I didn't dislike about the show.

When Kotobukiya first announced that Jonouchi Katsuya would be to be joining Yami Yugi (reviewed) and Seto Kaiba (reviewed) in the ArtFX J line, I was pretty ecstatic. As a fan of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, I felt the line was a ...
