Kotobukiya's Rockman model kit now up for preorder photo

When word leaked that Kotobukiya was releasing a plastic model kit of everyone's favorite Blue Bomber, all we needed left were to be told how much and when to pay for it. Today is that day as preorders have opened around the net. Kotobukiya's Rockman (or Megaman if you prefer) has been given the suggested price of 3,000 yen when it comes out this September. You can currently preorder from HLJHobby Search, or Amiami, which currently has the best price at 2,180 yen.

Also finalized have been the contents of the kit. Megaman will include a set of alternate fists, E-Tank, two alternate faces and both normal and charge energy effect parts. The kit is set at 1/10 scale, standing at 130mm or just over 5 inches. It's shaping up to be a rock-solid kit and I'm looking forward to whatever kits come down the pipeline in the future.

How many of you are going to pick this up and what kits would you like to see made next?

Legacy Comments

Absolute get for me.
Wow way cheaper than I expected. Consider this bought!
Probably going to pick up, but will spend a day or two thinking about it first. Really hoping that they'll Proto Man, Air Man, Wood Man, Crash Man, Skull man, and.... Top Man >_>

Completely off-topic, but I also wish they'd do Hellbat Schilt from MMZ3. Actually, there are a ton of reploids from the X & Zero series that I'd like to see in figure form >_> Some of the X ones did end up getting kits (as did the MMBN spin-off), but the Zero series was basically neglected. Still have to check if they ever made a Skullman.exe
It's an E-Tank damnit...E-TANK.

Though, this is probably the only moneydraining figurine I'd ever want to own.
That is a pretty good deal, and it dwarfs the nifty old Rockman X series model I got years ago. I'd love to see a full series made...
Rockman get! I know I'd hate myself later if I passed this up.
MUST HAVE I got two just in case.
Hmm...

I'm not a huge Megaman fan, but for this price, it's probably worth it. Depends on whether or not I have the $20-30 to spare, though.
YES MUST GET. E TANKS!!!
Alright then! Lets do this!

So... how do i do this whole "pre-order" thing? Any preferred sellers? Any sellers especialyl hard to deal with? Can I just do it all in paypal?!

HOW CAN HAS?!!?

I prefer AmiAmi these days...for something this cheap, unregistered SAL might be a good deal (albeit a bit slow). They do Paypal, so it's safe. Hobby Link Japan is another good option. It's actually pretty easy! There are plenty of trustworthy sellers out there, but the two I listed are plenty safe. Really, all the links in the article are legit.
I just don't have the crafting skill to make this a worthy purchase. :( Reality sucks.

Thanks! Doesn't sound painful at all!
Do you have to paint that figure yourself, or is it already painted?
Sorry, I'm a n00b with this kind of stuff.. :)

I'd like to know as well! =O
This kit will be rather easy to put together. It won't require paint to finish, but it can make it look better.
I preordered mine a couple of days ago!
