Kotobukiya's Princess demands your pre-orders

...But will you obey?

Kotobukiya's take on Mawaru Penguindrum's Princess of the Crystal certainly sets itself apart from its Good Smile Company and Alter counterparts. Rather than having her look like a penguin-stomping queen, Kotobukiya is taking the cute approach here. With her proportionally larger head, slimmer legs and petite frame, this Princess has a younger look to her. I'm liking the way she's almost teasing the viewer by lifting her dress, and her smile certainly compliment that very well, yet I'm not entirely sold on her piercing pink eyes -- they just don't seem to the kind eyes that goes together a sweet smile.

But hey, Princess is Princess, and any figures of her is good news to me. At 1/8 scale, Kotobukiya's Princess of the Crystal is retailing for ¥7,800. Has this princess got you under her heel, or have you fallen for another version?
