Kotobukiya's Bishoujo Psylocke is so hot that she's making me melt

Dec 22 // Tim Sheehy

During the San Diego Comic Con, Kotobukiya briefly touched on their upcoming additions to their Marvel Bishoujo series. After polling some fans, they settled on Psylocke and Phoenix, though until recently we hadn't seen anything more than preliminary sketches. Being a huge fan of Shunya Yamashita, I've been eagerly awaiting some photos so that we could share them with you, and while we're still waiting to see Phoenix, it seems that Psylocke is just about ready.

She's really gorgeous, but then again, pretty much anything Shunya Yamashita draws catches my eye. The sculpt was done by Yu Ishii, who has worked on several of the previous bishoujo statues, and fine art busts, and he does a decent job of attempting to capture the essence of Shunya's style. I'd love to see the final sketch that the figure was based on, though. If you're like me and you have to have this, AmiAmi.com is already accepting pre-orders for 4,960 yen, which is actually 19% off the list price. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
