Kotobukiya's Alicia Melchiott from Valkyria Chronicles is up for pre-order photo

For all you Valkyria Chronicles fans out there, our lead girl Alicia is looking pretty sweet and is now available for pre-order. Not only does she come with a tank hatch platform, as an extra you get Hans (the piggy!) to add to your Valkyria collection. If you don't have one, this is a fabulous start. It's finally here, after being teased with the Wonder Fest PVC load

Hobby Search and AmiAmi have these listed for about 6,800 yen and it is set to release in December; meaning by January you can give this lovely, 1/8 scale PVC lady (and her winged pig) a home.

What say you? I personally like her cute pose, and it looks like she won't wobble off the base very easily. Huge plus: She's got a rifle; now there's a girl that won't be messed with!

Legacy Comments

I like the pose and her adorable-!- facial expression.
They've got me
I'm sold, even if it is the anime version. What I'd really have liked to see is her standing in her sort of trademark character pose, that's in Drew327's avatar.

Now, bring me Welkin, Rosie, Largo, and Varrot and I'll be set (and broke).
Sega has apparently registered a few domains that tease a VC3 (one with a countdown to 9/16/10- Tokyo Game Show announcement, I guess?) so if the franchise keeps going maybe a couple years from now I can have a shelf full of Gallian soldiers!
Ah God, Alicia...

My brother was just asking about this the other day... I don't think I can resist getting it for the both of us.
That's some darn good rifle action..
Looks kinda...bland...
Maybe it's just because it's the anime version, but the detail level feels a bit low in the photos. I saw some of the preview photos and really wanted to like this figure, but I'm just not feeling it.
Agree with Whiskeyjack, I am not really feeling it either. Is it the smile? Something is not quite right...
Ugh, just when I was hoping for an Alicia figure I could afford, I saw this. Way to get my hopes up and drop me 100 feet. I guess if there was a way to grind off the stupid hair I'd be interested, because then the figure wouldn't be a painful reminder of what was one of the most disappointing anime adaptations for me.
