Kotobukiya reveal DC Comics Bishoujo Huntress' prototype

Jul 12 // Kristina Pino    @kriskitten

With all the hustle and bustle for SDCC, we almost missed this awesome news. Kotobukiya revealed Shunya Yamashita's artwork for the fierce Helena Wayne a little over a month ago, so it's nice to see a prototype right away. Though the character is in New 52 continuity, the costume might confuse a few folks into thinking she is actually Helena Bertinelli. To me, it just looks like Shunya decided the costume should be a fusion of her look in World's Finest and her Birds of Prey look. I'm not complaining.

Her pose reminds me a bit of Batgirl's (reviewed: originalrecolor), statue-d base and all, and she and Power Girl are home girls, so I see some great-looking Bishoujo dioramas in our future. Huntress really beats out the majority of the line in sexiness, though. And that hair is glorious. She's 100% woman, and she may very well already be in my Top Figures list.
