[UPDATE] Kotobukiya previews Bishoujo Commander ShepardThe next Bishoujo preview from Kotobukiya has just gone live on their Facebook page, and it's Mass Effect 3's Female Commander Shepard getting her moment in the spotlight. We knew this was coming, based on the teaser we saw recently, but the 9-inch-tall (1/7-scale) Shepard looks amazing. Shepard will come with two accessories: her M55 Argus Rifle and an Omniblade for her left arm. It falls in line with what Kotobukiya's Dan Lujan told us at San Diego Comic Con, that the Bishoujo line would be seeing some more alternate parts in the future. In this case, both work with the pose well. Also worth noting is the beautiful sculptwork from Masahiro Takahasi (a.k.a. GILL GILL), who has taken a Shunya sketch I was at best lukewarm over and given it an incredible 3-D representation, from the armor seams to that look on her face of determination. Definitely, in my opinion, one of the better looking Bishoujo figures we've seen so far and one of the best face sculpts in the entire line. Shepard is deploying for duty in March 2013 and pre-orders should not be far off with this reveal having taken place. I'm sure we'll see more of her in 17 days at New York Comic Con, but what's your first impression? [UPDATE: Here come the pre-orders! Selling at Japanese retailers for ¥6,800; no word on a U.S. market price.] [Pre-order at Hobby Search | AmiAmi | HobbyLink Japan | Otacute] Did you know?
