Kotobukiya Hobby Exhibition reveals many new PVC figuresKotobukiya earlier this week teased some upcoming products for their Hobby Exhibiition event in Akihabara. The event has come and the figures have been revealed though the super sleuths of the internet knew very much what was coming. But, hey! You can now see them without thinking your're looking at something adult with the mosaic! Probably the big news from the event is the revealing of the popular Asuna from Sword Art Online. The 1/8-scale figure is cute to look at and I love it when there is a lot of motion to a figure. Next up from the Shining series is a 1/8-scale figure of Altina from Shining Blade, a follow up to the two versions of Sakuya. The Angelic Island series of swim time fun The iDOLM@STER figures continues with the 1/7-scale Yayoi who carries a rather large, happy smile. OreImo fans who are more into Kuroneko can have a similar 1/7-scale swimsuit figure that was released of Kirino. Kotobukiya also had the large wing-span of their 1/8-scale Kuroyukihime from Accel World for you take another gander at. Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse is receiving some more attention with three more figures. Leading the group of three is the 1/7-scale Yui in her shape tracing uniform. It is also continuing the tradition of figures of adding a set piece to include with a figure which is a bonus. Following after will be Inia and Cryska who will also include set pieces. Only silhouettes are shown but one can expect something good looking from Kotobukiya. Most of these figures on display will see a release in 2013 and there is a nice variety for fans to choose from. Well, except for me. I'm still waiting for my Girl C Talking in the Background figure. Why no love for the extras in anime? Seriously, from this batch of figures shown at the Kotobukiya Hobby Exhibition, is there anything you see as a definite buy? [via Akiba Hobby] Did you know?
