Kotobukiya has their own beautiful Black Hanekawa coming

Black Hanekawa from Bakemonogatari is ceratinly an interesting and beautiful character. And a plus for fans of the nekomimi. Though what's on the inside... Anyhoo! Alter has already released a lovely version of Black Hanekawa but it looks like Kotobukiya may have trumped Alter with their own release coming.

The 1/8 scale figure by Kotobukiya features Black Hanekawa laying on top of two smashed, rusty desk which was the first thing to grab my attention when laying my eyes on this figure. The paint job is looking extraordinary from the broken wood to the rust stains on the metal of the desk. Sure there's a figure to be looked at but those desk cannot be ignored. As for Black Hanekawa, she's looking far more beautiful than Alter's release with her hair being more wild and having a pose that's alluring. She's showing the same amount of shoulder from her cute pajamas that are drooping off but is showing much more skin if you know where to look. The hair does seem a little heavy around her face but that's all that's bother me on this one.

I'm finding myself being seduced by Kotobukiya's Black Hanekawa and the hand is reaching for the wallet. Are you finding your hand reaching, too? She's retailing for 9,800 which is a price that makes sense for this one. If you're unsure, you'll have until May, 2012 to make your decision. I'm sure we'll see more pictures coming that may persuade you.
