It's been a while since we saw the daughter of Han and Leia. We were only teased to the image during New York Toy Fair, but the sculpted product is finally in hand. Yes, Bishoujo is treading in danger territory with possible fanboy outrage, but I believe they can strike a chord with their release of Jaina Solo.

Jaina is rather unadorned to be honest. There's nothing fancy, but I think it's that kind of simplicity that really works for this figure. She's cute, not overly busty or sexualized. She has her helmet and lightsaber and that is really all you need. It's simple, not boring. All in all, I'm actually excited to see the final product. I'm really surprised that I'm liking it this much, but I'd rather have that feeling than outrage.

I'm sure we'll see more of her up close at San Diego Comic-Con, so stay tuned for our coverage from the event! Her release is currently slated for December 2012.

[update: I came across her pre-order on BBTS' front page while looking for something else. -Kris]

The latest one to arrive is Emilie de Rochefort, otherwise known as Lili. This figure has its unique charms, as I was pleased to discover during the review process. Read on to see what I mean!
