Kotobukiya brings its guns for Lost Planet 2 figures photo

As a fan of just about anything mecha, Lost Planet 2 is something I'm waiting on anxiously to come out. In order to whet appetites, Kotobukiya is set to release a new set of action figures. While Kotobukiya would normally make model kits, instead there will a poseable action figure of both the Hard Baller and Drio.

The Hard Baller features 24 points of articulation and stands in at around the 6" range. The Drio will be just a centimeter shorter, but will feature only 14 points of articulation. The weapons are interchangeable between the two units, so feel free to set them up as you wish. The Hard Baller will come packed with the Laser Rifle and Rocket Launcher while the Drio sports a pair of gatling guns and adjustable cockpit.

Both figures are set for a release date in late May, just around or after Lost Planet 2's worldwide release date of May 18th. You can pick up either the Hard Baller or Drio for a retail 4000 yen. Amiami is currently sporting a preorder with a 15% off discount.

Legacy Comments

DAMN! Those look freakin hot. I thought the first game was only average so I don't know if I can see myself buying toys from the franchise.
That thing on the Hard Baller's left fist reminds me of the knuckle weapons from Front Mission 3/4. I'm reeeally excited for this game.
