Koto's Xiaomei picks your pocket a second time
Shining series figures are almost always a big hit, particularly the ones that don't seem to be copying other similar characters in all but name. That said, Koto's "Prank Thief" kitty Xiaomei received quite the attention when she first arrived, enough to warrant an upcoming re-release! What can be said that wasn't the first time around? Tony Taka's designs certainly stand the test of time, and this pastel-covered kitten's as attractive as ever. I didn't mention it the first time around, but I like that her taiyaki is entirely removable, as its odd placement is my only very minor quibble with the whole package. If you missed her the first time around, I'd highly recommend the ¥6,600 to not let her December release slip through your fingers a second time.
