Kidrobot kicks 2012 off with new Labbits

If you love Labbits like I do, then Kidrobot's first news of 2012 is sure to bring a smile to your face. The Frank Kozik-designed critter is getting some new variants for the new year, starting with 10-inch Glossy Smorkin' Labbits! The super-glossy Labbits are available now at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com and specialty retailers for US$60 each in red, white and black colorways.

If you want something a little less shiny and more fun, though, then wait until Feb. 9. Yes, as an early birthday present, Kidrobot is releasing the Choice Cuts Labbit, which might easily be one of my favorites so far. I love the pattern on the Labbit, and the box is just as fantastic. He'll be available for US$80 at Kidrobot storeskidrobot.com and specialty retailers, and he makes a great gift for that special editor-in-chief in your life. Just sayin'.
