Kaiyodo x Kadokawa return with Evangelion's Ayanami Rei Plug Suit ver.

Kaiyodo and Kadokawa are teaming up again to bring another Young Ace exclusive figure from revamped series of a long name Evangelion 2.0 You can (not) Advance. Mari and Asuka have both had their turn so that only leaves Ayanami Rei to round out the trio of lovely ladies.

Rei stands at an impressive 145mm (5.7 in), granted that most of her size goes to the base and her long legs. Her plug suit features great detail to match the illustration featured in Kadokawa Young Ace advertisement minus the shadowing detail on a certain pair. Rei suffers from a rough paint job but it is still a high quality figure. For a figure and magazine at a cheap price, it is definitely an amazing deal. I'm amused that the print quality press file used is titled "pinup05.pdf". Can one blame Kadokawa for calling it that when Rei is being so delicious?

Tentative pre-orders for Young Ace Vol. 6 with the exclusive Ayanami Rei Plug Suit ver. are available at AmiAmi for 680 yen. Just watch out for the cost of shipping for that huge chunk of magazine.
