Kaitendoh updates Last Exile's Alvis with some changes

3:30 PM on 11.22.2012

Pre-orders start for ver. 1.5 of Alvis with a new face and hair color.

Earlier in the year, Kaitendoh opened up pre-orders for the slightly older version of Alvis from the Last Exile sequel, Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing. Rather than re-releasing this 1/8-scale figure, Kaitendoh has decided to spruce up the face and color of her hair and give fans Alvis E. Hamilton ver. 1.5. It's practically the same figure with the cute turning pose, lifted leg, and flowing hair with braids. However, her hair is now a more muted shade rather than the blonde hair color from before and her closed smile is now a joyous opened smile. I'm more fond of the color and face on this one than the original.

Kaitendoh's Alvis E. Hamilton ver. 1.5 is retailing for ¥8,500 and will be available in February, 2013. So which would you go with? The original or the updated version?
