Just like the cartoon, Transformers' Starscream refuses to go away photo

Takara Tomy, exactly how many times are you going to use this mold? This is the fourth time that the "seeker" mold has been used for the Transformers Masterpiece series. First there was the original Starscream, then Skywarp followed by Thundercracker and now back to a transparent version of the original Starscream.

I can see owning this for completion purposes or if you are swayed by the shiny, transparent plastic. No official images exist so no word on whether the color scheme will be based on the original Takara Tomy release or the cartoon accurate USA edition of Starscream.

If this news has you excited, head on over to Big Bad Toy Store or Robot Kingdom (HK) to reserve your Masterpiece Ghost of Starscream. Expected release date is set for June, 2010.

MOAR Transformers:

Legacy Comments

Given the fragile this mold is, making him transparent doesn't really sound like a good idea.
I hate crystal/holographic/ghost variants.
There even more than four when you consider that some of the U.S. releases have different paint schemes.

I wonder if we'll also see a Sunstorm. (seeker repaint from the comics)
