I know we have a few Junko Mizuno fans floating around the site, myself included, so I thought they might appreciate word that Ms. Mizuno has worked her magic on yet another creative form, this time being the nostalgic My Little Pony. As you can see above, she's dressed it up in a way that makes me look at it and see it as a mature piece, rather than the child's toy I normally think of My Little Pony as.
It just came out two days ago and is currently on sale through Entertainment Earth for $16.99. I'm not sure if the pink curls are a turnoff to collectors looking for modern pieces to display on their shelves, but I have to say I like it very much. I've noticed a lot of My Little Ponys getting the custom treatment as of late -- how do you feel about that? Cool or not so much?
