Just in time for the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games, comes a very special Cavey and Coney release from Holly Stanway, a.k.a. a little stranger. The plushes, dubbed "Champion Cavey" and "Champion Coney," celebrate the Games a little differently. First, Champion Cavey (£16 each) will be available in the five colors of the Olympic Rings (Blue, Yellow, Black, Green, and Red), each wearing a little medal. All Champion Cavey plushes come with a Union Jack Cavey-shaped pin, colored to match the Cavey you received. Each Champion Cavey colorway is limited to 40 pieces. Champion Coney is the real winner here, I my opinion, looking absolutely adorable in his golden laurels. He is only available as part of a set that also includes one of each of the Champion Cavey Colorways (plus their respective pins) and a human-sized Cavey medal. The set is limited to 10 pieces and will cost £85 each. 

The other big release Holly announced is a real game-changer for those who like to display their Cavey collection. I am talking, of course, about the Cavey and Coney Cubes. Bargain-priced at £3.50, this clear, vinyl display cases open with a zipper will hold your plush securely, dust and mold-free (and you don't even need to prop them up!). The new Cavey and Coney plushes come with cubes included but, for older purchases, you'll want to spend the £3.50 and buy them from the Cavey Store.
