Johnny Cupcakes visits Hawaii Saturday

Hawaii kind of gets forgotten about by the folks on the mainland sometimes (except for vacations), but there's fans of collectibles out there and they deserve some events, too, right? The good news is that on Saturday, they'll be getting one when Johnny Cupcakes comes to visit for a lecture/Q & A/pop-up shop event. He'll be talking about his business and how it got started, as well as bringing out a bunch of goodies, including a Hawaii-exclusive T-shirt and a limited supply of his new vinyl figures.

If you're in Hawaii, the free event will be at Fresh Cafe x Loft in Space (831 Queen St., Honolulu), starting at 7 p.m. Hawaii time. Sounds like it could be a fun time for the folks in Hawaii, don't you think?
