Now this is one with staying power! She hasn't been released once, not twice, not three times, but four, with this upcoming re-release in January. I suppose with the lack of new material, there's no sense in making an entirely new figure, but wow. Griffon's apparently decided she's just that appealing to bring her back for another round, though I can't say I disagree.

Jibril got a pretty warm reception throughout each of her re-releases, and I'm a big a fan now as I was when I wrote her up four years ago. Suddenly, I realize I've been here a long, long time. Digressions aside, if you missed this one throughout the years, she's definitely worth taking a look at now. One of the few short-haired characters I like, I adore Jibril's design as a whole, and that cute expression doesn't hurt either! I also prefer this version to the translucent release, so I'm glad to see Griffon giving the more--relatively--modest version another day in the sun.

Of course, with our terrible economy, her ¥6,800 price tag will cost you quite a bit more than back in 2008. Still, I think she's worth considering!
