Jazwares Mega Man Retro Wave 1 returning to stores? photo

If these look familiar to you, they did me as well, and in fact they were originally released back in 2005. They are Jazwares Mega Man Retro Roto Series 1, and have been out of stock for quite some time. I'm curious as to why they're randomly pre-orderable from Big Bad Toy Store having been out for quite a while already, or maybe they're being rereleased, but I won't question it because they're awesome. I remember seeing these at the KB Toys in my town before it closed a couple years ago and regretted not picking them up then.

The real question is - Where's Gutsman? When they were originally shown at Toy Fair in 2005 the group consisted of Mega Man, Elecman, Shadowman, Protoman and Gutsman, but now he's nowhere to be seen. Either way they'll cost you just $10 a piece, and you can pre-order them as a group for around $40, and for four 6 inch figures that's not bad at all. You can also get your hands on the Kubricks/Bearbricks set, as well as several other pieces of nostalgia on Big Bad Toy Store's site as well. If you need some robot-boy action in your life, the time is now friends!

I'm a big Megaman fan, but I'm not impressed by these. They remind me of the figures they made for the American show >.<
I'll stick with my current collection.

Sorry for being a pageview whore.
...You can still find these in most convenience stores, like CVS. That's a pretty good indicator of the quality of toy these are. Well, that, and the fact that they're from Jazwares.

I pine for a day when Capcom gets a good company to make their figures.
The big anniversary year for Megaman had a ton of figure releases for him. I can say without a doubt that these were the absolute bottom of the barrel. Cheap plastic, badly painted and the arms have a tendency to drop off.

Skip 'em.
