Japan's reps for Gunpla Builders World Cup are amazing

You would expect it from the home of Gunpla to put forth some amazing models. Earlier this week, the winners of the Japan regional for the Gunpla Builders World Cup were announced and I must say that they are on a level I could only dream of.

I've seen a couple of these featured at various Gunpla shows, with the white MSN-06 Sinanju adorned with the wings and head pieces from the Wing Zero Custom. It definitely stood out to me, but I imagine that many of you will be drawn to the cuteness that is the Nyasshimar. Sadly, Nyasshimar won't be in the finals of the GBWC, as the Sinanju will take that honor.

There are also two excellent dioramas on display. One being of custom Zeonic aquatic mobile suits attacking the harbor and another being the classic Zaku II taking down some Federation Type-81 tanks. Again, I'm partial to second place here, as the Zaku II diorama beat out the trio of monoeyes. All things considered, I only wish I had the time, commitment and most importantly talent to pull of things like this.
