Many people will tell you that it's not about the size of the Batman in a fight but about the size of the fight in a Batman. Jakks Pacific seems to feel differently with their 31-inch tall Batman figure.

The "My Size" Batman will reportedly feature seven points of articulation. I imagine five of those to be head rotation, hinged hips, and hinged shoulders. The last two points might be wrist rotation but it's hard to tell. The sculpt and paint is about what you might expected on an item of this size at a $US40~50 price point, as it just looks like an over-sized version of a cheaply made smaller scale item. However, I imagine young children may be thrilled to have a Batman figure around their height so they can pretend that they're Robin or something (presumably to the horror of their parents). It also would arguably make a nice display piece for your coffee table as a conversation starter (which will presumably begin with, "Why do you have an over-sized Batman figure on your coffee table?").

If, for any reason, you decide that you actually want this thing you can pre-order it for US$40 from Entertainment Earth. Personally I'm hoping that Jakks Pacific will follow this project up with a 70-inch "My Size" Catwoman.
