Legend of Zelda fans are no doubt familiar with the creature known as the Korok, a kind of forest spirit that made its debut in Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Who wouldn't want one of those adorable allies for themselves? While perusing Etsy, I happened upon this delightful plush of Makar, the violin-playing Korok, sewn by the artist, Karly Maple. The kindly spirit is made of felt and flannel and can be customized by including leaf veins or altering the size of the leaf, at no additional cost.
I have seen many a handmade Zelda item on Etsy but, I must confess, this is my favorite. The plush accurately portrays the character and, at US$8, is priced right for its size (7 inches tall and 5 and a half inches wide). All in all, an awesome find, I think. What say you, good readers?
