Ikkitousen's Ryomou gets a little fiery with Aizu Project

Aizu Project - 1/6 Scale

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. When a character I don't particularly like gets a figure that I actually find appealing, I'll sit up and take notice. So it is with this cold cast figure of Ikkitousen's visually impaired Ryomou, from Aizu Project. Again, I've never been one to fall for the ever-so-popular Ayanami-inspired "shaggy blue hair" look, and with Ryomou it's only compounded by Japan's love for medical eyepatches.

Never one to shy away from an attractive outfit however, I had to take notice of her spicy red camisole. Foregoing the usual darker reds in these sorts of things, Aizu Project's given her a very vivid, brightly colored bit of lingerie instead, and it definitely works! I also have to applaud the interesting take on her base, providing a see-through panel for her to lean against, letting her be viewed from all angles.

While I'm not quite so sure the fiery camisole and unique setting make up for my eyepatch distaste, if there was ever a Ryomou figure I'd consider picking up I think there are a lot of worse options than this one! You'll be able to pick her up as soon as February, so start saving that ¥17,800.
