Hot Toys prepares for knight-rise with a teaser of Bane

Confession time!! I'm a much bigger Marvel fan than DC so my eyes are firmly fixed on the Avengers movie this summer. Captain America shouting "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!" *squee*

But that doesn't mean that I'm not also looking forward to the third and final part of the Nolan Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises. And like any good Vulture ready to cash in on the next big movie tie-in toy company waiting to give fans of the latest movies what they want, Hot Toys have just released a teaser image for their 1/6-scale Bane. By now, we all know what Tom Hardy looks like as Bane in the movie and since it's Hot Toys, you can bet that the final product will look damn near close to how he appears in the film, even if the teaser image shows precious little.

No news on a release date or price yet but I'm sure that will come soon enough as we edge towards the release date for the movie. Then you can think of the various ways your new Bane toy can break your batman!
