Hot Toys nabs the Batman movie license...the 1966 movieAs Hot Toys has continued to make their army of Batmen, there was always that one that I wondered if they could actually pull off. I will finally have the chance to see what they come up as Hot Toys has announced they have obtained the license to make figures from the 1966 Batman TV and movie series. Yes, it was hokey, silly, and features Adam West, but I can only imagine how Hot Toys would recreate the outfits from the series. I won't see Batman, Robin, The Joker, Catwoman, or Penguin just yet, as the first release in the line will be the Batmobile. There's no price, but just think of Mr. Dink and "Very Expensive." I really want a Batman and Robin to go with it, and knowing Hot Toys, they will. With no new Iron Man movie until next year, I guess they'll just occupy their time with the Batman franchise. Nothing says rich guy fighting evil like Iron Man Batman Hot Toys. Given the possibilities, are you guys interested in seeing Hot Toys ultra-detailed figures with the not-so-detailed Batman '66 series? Give your serious/sarcastic answers in the comments.
