Hot Toys' Michael Jackson Thriller figure will thrill you more than any ghost would dare to try photo

I thought I had lost my mind with insane happiness back when Hot Toys first announced they were making a Michael Jackson Billie Jean figure, but now I think it's at the point where I would practically make a shrine to them and bow down to it on a regular basis.

Hot Toys has now fulfilled my need for the toy that I've wanted most for a long, long while. They will be making an extremely well detailed Thriller figure that not only includes the iconic red jacket, but you will be able to fully transform from regular Michael to Zombie Michael in the drop of a hat.

As of now, they're giving a tentative date of December of 2009, as shown on the flyer, but those of us who got the Billie Jean figure know that a great figure can take a bit of extra time to produce. It will come with interchangable heads for regular and zombie Michael, as well as a torn up jacket and clean red jacket, as well as quite possibly two pairs of pants, socks and shoes, along with 5 sets of hands.

He's to stand roughly 12 inches tall, and will cost you around $250, plus shipping. While it's relatively big investment, as happy as I am with the Billie Jean figure, the Thriller figure is sure to be a no brainer. I'll be sure to keep you updated when this bad boy's officially up for pre-order.

Wow, that is fantastic!

For those of you into Michael Jackson, I would love to hear your memories of how MJ's music affected your life (no matter hoe significant or insignificant).

I just wrote about how Thriller affected me, back in that summer of 83.
