Hot Toys knows its bread and butter has been to milk everything it possibly could off its Iron Man movie license. They've released 15 of the 1/6 men in armor to date and odds are, if you own any of them, they're something you want to show off. Hot Toys wants more of your money and there's the problem of running out of armors, so they went with the next best option with their introduction of Tony Stark's Hall of Armor collection.
Well, it's not so much of a collection as it is a single piece to hold a single figure. Hot Toys want you to have a true Hall of Armor, so buy multiple ones so you can make your own 1/6 scale replica of Tony Stark's garage. It can fit any of the figures released so far, with probably the exception of the newly-announced Iron Monger. The Hall of Armor comes with lights and certainly would look great in any display, the only real question and concern that I have is price. Sadly, that's a question that will go unanswered, as will the question regarding its release.
Realistically, I would love to add this to my collection, but I don't think Tony Stark in his test unit (reviewed) would be a good look stuck inside a display like this. However, given the hypothetical situation that I did have a Hot Toys Iron Man, say Mark I, I'd love to have this given that it doesn't cost more than $75. Knowing Hot Toys though, I think this will cost more than a full Detolf and lights.
