We've seen a lot of Hot Toys. We've seen a lot of Iron Man. How can the company continue to pump them out and still keep people buying? You improve and don't just stick to your guns. Hot Toys did just that with their take on the Iron Man Mark VII armor (seen previously at Sideshow's SDCC booth).

We know the basics going in, lots of articulation, LED for the eyes, palms and Arc Reactor, metallic red and gold paint, etc. The main improvement on this figure is that they have finally added waist articulation to the armor. It was the only weak point in the figure, so I'm glad they found a way to do it without messing up the flow of the armor.

As for other touches to the figure, you can interchange the armor plates if you favor your Iron Man to be damaged. In addition, there is a new sculpt of Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark. This version seems a lot more clean that previous ones, perfect for sitting down for a meal at a shawarma restaurant. Lastly, you will also get a small holographic Mark VII. 

There's still no info as to how much it's going to cost or when it'll be released. Hopefully we'll find out some more at this weekend's Ani-Com HK event.
