Hobby Japan brings you another deadly sin

Hobby Japan brings you another deadly sin photo

Hobby Japan and Orchid Seed have teamed up for an original series of figures, "The Seven Deadly Sins." The first entry, covered by Emily (NSFW), was Asmodeus who personified lust. This time we have Leviathan, showing the world the deadly sin of tsundere. Wait, I meant "envy."

You don't see a whole lot of original characters from Japanese figure makers, though Orchid Seed has been known to sell a few. I just like seeing new designs, and Leviathan looks like she'll have a nice punk look going. The prototype in the scans is pretty well executed too as I especially like her face and proportions. There's no pre-order, pricing, or release info yet but seeing as this is a Hobby Japan thing, I expect this figure to be hard to get. So I guess it does kind of play into the whole envy thing.

Hobby Japan's Keiji Maeda is up for pre-order

I guess some people would say this figure is heavy on the cheese. Keiji here makes Soulcalibur's Ivy look modest by comparison, so I don't think anyone would ever accuse this figure of being tasteful. That's not to say t...

Belphegor's design for the Seven Deadly Sins revealed

If you're still following the Seven Deadly Sins figures, this month's scans showed off the design of Belphegor (who represents sloth). You wouldn't know it was sloth just by looking, though I guess her top is meant to invoke ...

Satan joins the Seven Deadly Sins line

Although there was no physical model, we can at least marvel in the design of Satan. She'll be the next to join Hobby Japan and Orchid Seed's ambitious Seven Deadly Sins figures. If you're trying to make sense of the drawing,...

Hobby Japan's Kanetsugu Naoe looks pretty in pink

Gender swap anime Hyakka Ryouran certainly isn't shy about showing off its female cast, and pervy figure collectors like me are thankful for it. Alter and Hobby Japan made a Kanetsugu Naoe swimsuit figure last year, and now t...

Spend some exclusive time on the beach with Muv-Luv's Yui

Everyone needs some time off from fighting horrific invaders, and fortunately for Muv-Luv's Yui, Hobby Japan's done just that with this upcoming exclusive bikini-clad version. Though perhaps they could give the naming job up ...

Koihime Musou's Kanu goes 3D with this pre-order

While a certain raven-haired lass might be the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions Kanu, one does need to remember she's based off a historical figure. With Japan's penchant for historical gender-bending, you...

This month's magazine scans brought two shapely ladies to my attention. First is a reveal of what will be the next deadly sin: Mammon. As you might know, Hobby Japan and Orchid Seed have been collaborating on a series of figu...
