Even though there will be yet another Hobby Complex event during Japan's Golden Week, they were nice enough to provide an event for those who create their own figures. Hobby Complex GK 01 just occured this weekend and was the first event where garage kits were the main focus. There are a couple of familiar faces but many new ones that have yet to be seen. I don't know about you but I REALLY want the Vocaloid Pinky:St figures.
Compared to Treasure Festa (with the serious WTF figure), there were a lot of great looking garage kits. GA Graphic and AkibaHobby (they also provide links to other websites with reviews) posted great coverages of the event so make sure to visit their websites to see more pictures.
