Hideo Kojima reveals painted Play Arts Kai Solidus Snake

While I love the Metal Gear series, my understanding of the story can be summed up thus: *grumble grumble* Patriots, nanomachines, Metal Gear. I'm not sure if missing out on Sons of Liberty helped or hindered my understanding of the story. Though it meant not seeing the naked Raiden cartwheels, I also missed a bunch of stuff about Arsenal Gear, La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo, and oh yeah, this guy.

Hideo Kojima revealed via Twitter (@HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN) a painted version of the Play Arts Kai Solidus Snake, and he's a spitting image of Big Boss. Apparently he was the President of the United States in MGS2. I believe it; heck I'd vote for him. The level of articulation remains to be seen, but he is quite an imposing figure with that armor, two swords, and two FN P90 submachine guns. Solid Snake looks downright envious.

Is suspicious of kittens and robots. Vehemently dislikes angle quotes. Will never forgive the Cylons. Was the real-life inspiration for the movie . more   |   staff directory
