Hidamari Sketch's debut figures from WonFes photo

From the scraps of WonFes come these Hidamari Sketch (renamed Sunshine Sketch here in the States) figures from Takkyu Mokei. Dressed in their typical school uniform, we have Yuno holding a super-deformed version of Miyako, along with one of Hiro coming home from the grocery store with goods for dinner.

Hidamari Sketch is an adorably cute anime by SHAFT (Sayonara, Zetsubou-sensei, Negima) based off of a 4-koma manga about a group of girls going to an art-focused high school. The series goes between normal character styles and a completely "super-deformed" look, where the characters heads are stretched out to pill-shaped sizes.

So, to see the figures as their fully grown selves is almost a little disappointing. The SD forms of the characters are rather prominent throughout the manga and anime, and so now that these figures are out, I'm immediately dreaming of Nendoroid Hidamari Sketch figures, or another appropriately cute version of them, instead of shouting "do want!" for these. None the less, I believe these are the first Hidamari Sketch figures out there, which makes them a pretty good start.
