Heroclix TabApp adds DC Comics charactersRecently we discussed the new Heroclix TabApp and, at the time, I had (silently) wondered if Wizkids would doing a DC version as well. It would appear that the question has been answered by Wizkids' announcement that they would indeed be doing a DC version. The first two 3-packs are a "DC Comics Super Heroes" pack (featuring Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman in their The New 52 outfits) and a The Dark Knight Rises pack (featuring Batman, Bane, and Catwoman). The figures themselves (some are visible on the TabApp site) appear to look a bit better than the Marvel series despite sporting the same general cartoony style. However, the look of the figures will likely take a backseat to the actual TabApp gameplay which, last I saw, hasn't had the best reception since fans seem to dislike that the game operates outside the traditional Heroclix rules. While I haven't seen a price point associated with these latest sets, I would imagine that they'll have the same US$15 seen with the Marvel ones. Did you know?
