Hawaiian Pikachu says 'Aloha', 'Buy me'
You might've heard about the Pokemon World Championships that took place in Hawaii on Aug. 13th. (Belated congrats to champs Shota Yamamoto and Ray Rizzo!). But did you know there was a limited edition plush Pikachu to go with it? This limited edition Pikachu plush was sold at the World Championships and now can only be purchased at PokeMon Center shops in Japan, according to a Aug. 27th post on the PokeMon Center Official Staff Voice blog. Whether the staff was simply late in updating the blog or couldn't update because they're drowning in a surplus of Pikachu plushes (very possible with the Pokemon Center's summer "Pikachu World" theme), they seem to be trying to get rid of the Pika-plushes ASAP. It'll be difficult for those outside of Japan to get a hold of these, but there's enough online Japanese courier services that should help get this Hawaiian Pikachu to you. At 1,200 yen ($14), it should be pretty affordable. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
