Have a look at every angle of Tekken Bishoujo Alisa

I admit I haven't touched a Tekken game since Tekken III on the PlayStation. That's right. I didn't even play it in the arcades. That doesn't mean I don't look at the pretty pictures and see what characters come and go. There has been one character who has captured my attention since her introduction and that's Alisa Bosconovich from Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.

As we've known recently Tekken has been inducted into Kotobukiya's Bishoujo line, a line of figures with characters based on the art of Shunya Yamashita. Kotobukiya showed a preview on their Facebook page just a week ago of the 1/7 scale Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Tekken Bishoujo Alisa Bosconovich figure and now moeyo has a complete preview of it. Alisa is looking to be a gorgeous figure with a excellent color scheme. I would be one sided in this for the pink hair but she has an interesting design to go with that hair. There's also a lot of motion happening in this figure which makes it something nice to look at.

However, there are a couple of glaring issues that I can't over look. The flowers look very lazy when compared to the rest of the figure, like something you would see on a cake, and really stand out from the rest of the figure. The other issue I'm seeing is, though she has a very beautiful face with those lovely lips, the eyes are an issue. From an angle it doesn't bother me as much but if you look at her straight on, it's like you're looking into the eyes of a cold blooded psychopath ready to bring that knife down on you. And, unfortunately, this is a figure that is designed to be looked at face to face.

I'm on the fence for this one. She's pretty and colorful but those flaws are also nagging at me. Maybe it's best I stay on the fence and not end up making a purchase I'll regret. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Tekken Bishoujo Alisa Bosconovich is scheduled for release in May, 2012 for a retail price of ¥7,140.
