Zaku, Tallgeese and Deathscythe are words that wont elicit a reaction from normal people when spoken, but if uttered in the presence of a Gundam fan these words are likely to set aflame a blazing emotional response much like someone who is madly in love. These people just happen to be in love with giant robots from the future.

The Gundam Expo 2008 is underway and as usual I feel a little piece of myself die as I miss yet another amazing gathering of the best that Gundam has to offer. Featuring what appear to be prototypes of new figures, Gundam themed motorcycle helmets and a plethora of Gundam figures in ever grade from Standard to Perfect, you'd be hard pressed to find a finer collection of Gundam anywhere in the world.  I cant read Japanese, so I cant tell you exactly whats going on with all these pictures ... but I can tell you that there is a whole lot of hell yeah going on here.

Check out Akiba Hobby's coverage and prepare to drool, as you will be treated to some serious eye candy sure to satisfy the sweet tooth of the biggest Gundam fan.
