Having finally seen Devil Angel Jiburiru thanks to Japanator and Destructoid's Dale North, I can say the character is cute and the whole show's premise isn't too bad ... at least for the first episode. Griffon's been able to capture Jiburiru's cuteness, though, in their new clear white Jiburiru figure. Hobby Stock's got her up for pre-order at 6,800 yen (approx. US$73). She'll be released in September.
The figure itself isn't new, but what is new is just how much more Griffon's decided to reveal in the clear white version. Really, I would just drop the word "white" from the figure's name because there's much, much more clear than there is white in her clothing. Speaking of which, you can switch out her already clear costume for something even more revealing and a bit torn-up.
All in all, Jiburiru's a nice sculpt, but maybe a bit too sexualized for me. This is definitely not a figure you want your parents to see. Sure, this might be a bit too much for some of you, but hey, it could be worse. Much worse.
Most of Max Factory's presence at ACen was in figma form, but they had a trio of scale PVC figures there too. Two of them are recent releases: DRAMAtical Murder's Aoba, and Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere's Tomo. Aoba looked...

There's a fine line between milking the cow and killing the golden goose. Bandai's Premium Web Shop walks the line like a guy with a blood alcohol level of 0.08. While a few of their efforts aren't too offensive, when you sta...
