Griffon offer mouthwatering new Death Note resin statues

I don't want to sound like a snob, but I don't pay attention to anything Death Note collectible related anymore. Like, ever. I think it's because the anime reached such heights of popularity that the collectibles scene was just drenched with Death Note stuff and most of it was not that good. I bought the Nendoroids and then just kind of stopped paying attention.

But man, this morning, I sat up straight in my chair when I laid eyes on these. Two resin/coldcast scuplture releases from Griffon Enterprises (who, once again, are shocking me with their quality level here) are due out in December and limited to 500 pieces each. Wow. That is easily the hottest Light figure I have ever seen. And I don't even like Light. And waituntil you see the level of detail on the Ryuk (see gallery)!
