Exclusive figures are a curse upon collecting. They almost always cost more than retail if you don't live in Japan, but they are also almost always something collectors really, really want. Well, Good Smile Company decided to unveil some kickass figures for Winter Wonder Festival. So without further ado, hit the jump to check them all out... and weep as your wallet mysteriously empties itself.

[via Good Smile Company's info page]

Don't worry, there's more than Ultraman from GSC this year. :P

Let's start with Good Smile Company's big franchise, Black Rock Shooter. Of course you had to expect some exclusives, and this time we get the Figma of Kuroi Mato, which will retail for ¥2,500. 3000 will be available at WonFest, but she will also be available online in limited numbers on February 13th on Good Smile Company's website, but they don't ship to the US so you will need a proxy! I swore I was never going to buy any figures of her because the OVA was so boring, but man... those faces are amazing!

Then, again from Black Rock Shooter, we have a Petit Nendoroid set of Kuroi Mato and Takanashi Yomi, which will retail for ¥1,500. Like the Mato Figma, 3000 will be available at the event, and orders will open online on February 13th. These sure are cute, and their low price point is sure to entice a lot of buyers.

Next up we have the oh-so-adorable super poseable Snow Miku, who comes with *gasp* new Miku faces! Also, a snowman. She will retail for ï¿¥4,000, and again there will be 3000 pieces of her available at the show with online orders opening for a limited time on February 13th.

Next we have another Nendoroid, a limited white coat edition of Makise! People complained about the rather expressionless faces in the first one, but that is certainly not an issue her. They are SO CUTE! She will be ï¿¥3,000 with, surprise surprise, 3000 available at the show and online orders opening on February 13th. Note that for all of the Nendoroids and Figmas, online orders at Good Smile Company's site will be open for 6 days only

Now for something totally different, we have a non-poseable figure of Ultraman 80 produced by Max Factory, which will retail for ï¿¥4,000. Unlike the other figures, he is much more limited, and there are only 300 of him at the show. Orders will open online on the 13th like the other figures, but only 100 will be available online!

And last but not least, it seems that Good Smile Company is now doing distribution for 3A! They have an exclusive WRR Japan Defense Force Set there, which retails for ï¿¥12,000. There will be 300 at the show, and when orders open online on the 13th only 200 will go up.

Please note that all items are limited to 2 per person, and online orders will ship in late June!

So, Tomopeeps, those are Good Smile Company's offerings for Winter WonFest 2011! I know I need that Makise in my life, and that Snow Miku is too adorable to pass up. But what about you guys? Are you finding any of these figures particularly tempting?

NOT FAIR

I want that snow Miku so bad especially with that face and the snowman, why do exclusives have to be of figures I want really bad

I also wanted that Mato Figma for sake of completeness, and she actually came out really good

The Steins Gate Nendoroid looks adorable as well, if she weren't an exclusive I would totally get her

anyone know a good proxy?

Big In Japan and Nihonju will probably get all of this stuff in for not much more than retail, plus they are actual stores so you don't have to deal with email chains. If you don't want to go through them, Goody Japan and Yokatta are really good, and there's always Tokyo Hunter though he is on the pricey side.

However, you can probably contact a proxy now and get your order in, while you'll have to wait on stores for the order period to open. Be warned that TH was booted from GSC's site once for ordering more than the limit last WonFest (though Yokatta was unaffected) so it might actually be safer to just go through a store.

There's always US stores, but they tend to charge about $80 to $100 for exclusive Nendoroids. For comparison Big In Japan had the last Touhou Nendo up for only 4k, so they're pretty damn cheap!
Kuroi is cute, but I'm more than content with just having Dead Master, BRS, and Black Gold Saw. I wouldn't mind owning Snow Miku though. I might need to take a look at a proxy service.
Snow Miku 2.0 comes with ICE MOLDS??? Oh my gosh, as if I wasn't set of getting her before! I can't wait for the proxies to put these up (ESPECIALLY since the GS website says they'll be made to order, so we'll all have a chance it seems!)

Kindof disappointed with Makise being the other exclusive Nendo, I love her and all but she just doesn't seem to be exclusive material to me. Maybe she's a lot more popular then I thought, or they're just going for a huke theme with their line up this year
Can someone please comment on their experiences with www.biginjp.com ? Thanks!
i've pre-ordered makise and snow miku, too cute to resist!!!!
My interest level for all BRS schoolgirl merch (and BRS herself in general): 0.0 (super zero).

Kinda wish I hadn't gotten the original Snow Miku to justify getting the super-posable, though. Only sorta.
My proxy service is Celga. Easy to place orders and bids, and they keep communication. Have only had two bad experiences since 2007. Other than that, no problems at all!
My proxy dried up on me unexpectedly, but not before getting the two K-ON! exclusives for me. Just glad they aren't doing a third K-ON! exclusive (though there's still two more characters I really want them to do!).

I'm surprised to see that Mato is the Wonderfest exclusive this time around, we saw so many pictures of her a while ago, they're usually better about keeping these a secret at least a week or so before the official announcement. Don't really care for Mato enough to get worked up over this.

I'm calling this now: Yomi will be the next Wonderfest figma exclusive.
Little feedback: make sure to provide the relevant details in the beginning. It's easy to miss the order period length unless you read most of the article.
Made it to the check out process at Big in Japan, but then got to the price conversion. I'm really having trouble justifying $90 (shipping included) in Snow Miku now. Man our conversion rate sucks, I kind of wish I could just invest in a ton of yen now before it gets any worse.
Kuroi's exclusiveness has just settled my buy-or-not-buy question.

The Makise nendo is kinda cut, but really not getting more into nendos especially exclusive nendos.
In my opinion, Kuroi is a lot nicer looking than the actual BRS figma. Nothing I'm getting here though. Snow Miku is cutish, but I'm not a fan of the snowflake patterns on her, and I've a got HMO Miku on the way.
...plus, having more than one figure of a character often creeps me out.
Underwhelmed. Sporty looking Mato's pretty neat looking?
Makise's cute, but I'm not paying for an exclusive when those variant faceplates should've been with her first time round. /huffs
No doubt they'll get me with some touhou exclusives come Reiteisai. 'Til then, GSC.
*reads top image, but there's only one male figure among the whole list*

I am disappoint.
...this is horrible.

Kuroi, the NP Set, and Snow Miku are all DO WANTS.

Must find a way to earn the money... D:
