Good Smile Company appears in this month's scans

Madoka Magica, Muv-Luv, and more

Good Smile Company's previews in this month's scans didn't wow me, but maybe you guys will find something you like.

First up is the green-haired gal, a 1/7 scale figure of Nozomi Akiyama from Se Kirara. Despite it being an eroge, the figure itself is pretty modest. This one's actually by Max Factory, whose scale figures have mostly been fairly plain as of late. She'll be out in April 2013 for ¥7,800.

Next there's a figma Sayaka Miki from Madoka Magica. This time she's in her school uniform, bringing her in line with approximately 90% of every figma ever made. She'll also be out in April, for ¥3,200.

Rounding out the April releases is Nendoroid Yui Takamura from Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse. It's an interesting design, but I think maybe some things just shouldn't be Nendoroids. You'll be able to grab this one for ¥4,000.

There were some unpainted prototypes too, starting with figma Yuno from Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb. She's set for a 2013 release. The guy in the coat would be Kirito from Sword Art Online, though there are no release details for that one yet.

The last thing to see is an announcement for an event: Good Smile Company x Max Factory x Hobby Japan Modelers Try Out 2012. It looks like a chance to show off your figure modeling skills, but that's probably out of reach for most of us. It should be interesting to see what comes out of it, though.
