Oh, hi thar! I forgot that the characters of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha were older at one time since we've been bombarded by the youngin' versions of Nanoha and Fate from the movie. Based on their characters from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, Gift will be releasing a new swimsuit figure of Hayate along with a re-release of Nanoha and Fate.
Now one may be quick to point out that these three ladies look rather familiar. That's because we have seen them before as a part of Wave Corporation's Beach Queens line. But those are a paltry 1/10 scale! Throw that garbage away and replace it with the gigantic 1/4 scale versions from Gift! I kid, of course.
Not much to say. Ladies in swimsuits. Nothing we haven't seen before. Just like the Beach Queens versions, I like the shape of Hayate for looking like she has a fuller body. Also, short hair. Nanoha is also sharing a fuller looking shape while it looks like Fate is the most slender of the group. But, I have to question something. These ladies... do realize that their swimsuits don't quite fit? ...right?
Honestly, I think 1/4 scale is just a bit much for swimsuit figures since the only place you can really put real detail is the hair. And I guess the body if you do it right? Being the new one of the group, Hayate is retailing for ¥12,000 and will be shipping in November. Nanoha and Fate, being the lovers pair that they are both retail for ¥11,429 and will ship after Hayate in December.
