Giant Robot Biennale 3 opens September 23Los Angeles-based toy enthusiasts should be excited to learn that a new exhibit, curated by Eric Nakamura of Giant Robot, will be on display at the Japanese American National Mueseum in Downtown Los Angeles. The exhibit, Giant Robot Biennale 3, will have a portion called "Remix Project," featuring custom David Horvath vinyl figures (you've seen previous customs of this toy from Giant Robot's booth at this year's San Diego Comic Con) designed by 85 artists from all over the world:
See any artists in that soup of names whose work you are psyched to see? I know I did! Giant Robot Biennale 3 will run from September 23 to January 20 of next year. There will be an opening reception on September 22 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific, which will be free and open to the public. For more information on what the exhibit has to offer besides the customs, check out its Facebook event page or the youtube video after the jump. If you want more custom goodness, head on over to the Facebook event page specifically about Remix Project. Did you know?
